San Gil

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the room was very luxurious. Especially the bathroom and shower were amazing and just what we needed after a long, hot day exploring the vibrant city. The little balcony was lovely and gave us the opportunity to get a glimpse of the nightlife in Macarena without having to go out and experience it ourselves. The breakfast offered a wide variety of foods, and although we did not try the dinner, it looked fabulous, and I wished we tried it one of the days. The patio, in general, was and offered a nice place to have breakfast or enjoy a coffee and a drink in the afternoon. The cleansiness and amenities on offer were exceptional! Altogether, we felt very comfortable and at home in San Gil and had a wonderful stay!

We asked to be moved as I was on crutches and needed a lower floor room they were very accomadating even though we were only there for 3 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable . Lovely outside eating area. The pool area was clean , and there were enough sunbeds. It was never packed while we were there. Reception was very helpful , nothing was too much trouble. An enjoyable stay

there was 3 of us incl one child and the room had a separation between the master bedroom and kids bed which was ideal. breakfast had a good choice of national and international options (from Sacher Torte to Croissant to local baked goods) lovely to get gluten free options when asked. liked the fresh fruit very much. Hotel staff organised us a taxi to the airport first thing in the morning which worked perfect. we used the pool and got free towels from reception. really enjoyed having access to fresh lemon or orange infused water all day available (close to reception, downstairs bar). lots of little shops/restaurant, icecream bar in walking distance. we arrived early and were able to store our luggage prior to official check-in. receiption staff was very good and spoke spanish and english with some german - all very good. we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant in the evening so won't comment.

If I had come as a couple or with friends, I would have been very happy. I booked it 20 minutes before while driving on the road and received a spacious 2 bedroom suite instead of the double room I had booked for ~$120. There was a nice couch for working. The staff was very nice, carrying my suitcase upstairs and parking my car for me in a nearby garage.

Great location, really enjoyed being in the Macarena area. Friendly & helpful staff. Gorgeous building especially the courtyard and bar area. Quiet and spacious room with a big terrace and comfy beds.
